Pokhara Day Tour

1 Day

The Pokhara Sightseeing Tour enables you to explore the glorious city of Pokhara in a single day. On this trip, you will visit various cultural, historical, and amusement sites in and around the Pokhara valley. The city is a well-known holiday hub for tourists and Nepalese alike and, as such, has plenty of locations for sightseeing. This tour takes you to significant sites in a few hours, making it among the shortest trips around Pokhara.

On this Pokhara tour, you will visit notable sites such as Devi’s Falls, a famous waterfall that is 150m long and runs about 30m below ground level. You will also visit the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which has intricate underground paths and reaches up to Devi’s Falls. Another location is the Tibetan Handicraft Center, where Tibetan refugees craft carpets and clothes in Tibetan style.

The trip will also include Bindabasini Temple, which is one of the holiest temples in Pokhara valley. Moreover, you will also witness the Seti River Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. Pokhara day tour can be completed in about 3 hours, making it a half-day trip. However, you can also do the full-day trip whereby you have the option of visiting the Mountain Museum, Mahendra Cave, or World Peace Pagoda. We can also easily incorporate boating in Phewa Lake and a visit to the Barahi Temple on this trip.

For the full-day trip, the tour will cost $45 per person. Please note that you will get the best price if you are a group of three people as transportation becomes cheaper.

If you are looking to explore the glorious tourism capital of Nepal, you should not miss doing the Pokhara Tour.

We will start our trip by first driving to Chorepatan and visiting Devi’s Falls. It is a famous waterfall of Pokhara that attracts hundreds of visitors every day. Next, we will go inside the Gupteshwor cave, which is nearby. It is a large cave that is quite fun to explore and is right beneath the bustling Pokhara city. We will then go to the Tibetan Handicraft center nearby, where we can see how Tibetan-style textiles are made.

After exploring the southern part of the city, we drive to the north of Pokhara and visit the holy temple of Bindabasini. We will also go to Bagar to see the Seti River Gorge, one of the world’s deepest. Our half-day trip will end after that, and we will drive to our hotels. However, if we are making a full-day trip, we will go to our next location: the Peace Pagoda, Mountain Museum, or Mahendra Cave.
