The Lumbini Tour takes you to the birthplace of Lord Buddha, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Itinerary
For the single-day Lumbini tour, we begin early at 5 a.m., whereby we get on a private vehicle and drive southward from Pokhara. Lumbini is about 200km from Pokhara, so it will take some time to reach there. Our drive will be a scenic enjoyment as we traverse towns, villages, dense forests, farmlands, and rivers. Moreover, we will also be transcending from the hilly region of Nepal to the Terai region.
We will reach Lumbini at around 11 a.m, and we can have lunch upon arrival. After that, we will begin exploring the various cultural and religious pagodas and structures around the Lumbini region. We will spend about 3 to 4 hours touring the premises and taking photographs. At around 3 p.m., we will get on our vehicle and trace our way back. Our one-day Lumbini tour will come to an end once we arrive back in Pokhara, which will be around 9 p.m.
