Pokhara Canyoning

Pokhara Canyoning takes you on a canyoning trip to Ghalel, which is merely 1-hour drive from the city. The village of Ghalel is an ethnic settlement of the Gurung community that has plenty to offer for travelers. Among the many things, canyoning in the nearby waterfalls is one of the best experiences to have in Ghalel.

Situated only 22km to the northeast of Pokhara, the pristine location has waterfalls that are 45 meters and 75 meters in height. While abseiling down the cascades, you will enjoy the rushing volumes of water and the untouched beauty in equal measure. Professional guides will be there to instruct you and check your safety at all times.

If you are looking for an unforgettable rural canyoning experience near the city, then Pokhara Canyoning at Ghalel is for you. Alternatively, you can also try Jalbire Canyoning for a more intense experience.

We will begin our trip at 9 am, where a private vehicle will pick us from our hotel. After an hour of a drive towards the northeast of Pokhara, we will arrive at Ghalel village. The waterfalls for canyoning are within walking distance from the stopping place.

Once we reach there, the professional guides will give us comprehensive training and guidance for the canyoning. We will then get to the top of the waterfall and begin rappelling down the cascade. After canyoning for a few hours, we will have some lunch while enjoying the beautiful scenery. We will then get back on the bus and return to Pokhara by the end of the day.
