Trishuli River Rafting is one of the most popular rafting activities in Nepal. Trishuli is a tributary of the Narayani River and is easily accessible from both Kathmandu and Pokhara. Notably, the river’s name comes from the trident of Lord Shiva, and Hindus believe that the trident’s power made the river. Trishuli joins the Narayani River at Devghat and the Ganges in India.
Trishuli River contains some of the most exciting rapids amongst Nepali rivers. While that can be dangerous in the heavy-raining season, they create an extraordinary rafting experience in other seasons. Professionals always verify the safety of the tides before starting the rafting activities.
You will be doing the rafting near the village of Charaundi, which lies in Dhading district. While wrestling with the tides, you will be surrounded by ethnic villages and verdant forests. This single-day trip offers the best of rafting in Nepal while taking only a few hours of your time. However, if you have time, we also recommend you to make this a two-day trip by camping on the river beach.
Please note that the mentioned itinerary and the price are for the single-day trip. Additionally, you can also take part in the canyoning nearby the Trishuli River.
